Ludger is an ophthalmologic surgeon and entrepreneur who established eye clinics across Germany, Spain, and Andorra. Beyond that, he provides industry advice in ophthalmology and health information technology. Recognizing the need for structured Dry Eye care, his goal is to improve the quality and accessibility of modern treatments for millions of people.
Peter Scherer
Chief Information Officer
For over 30 years, Peter has been defining and realizing the IT aspects of healthcare projects. With Smart Dry Eyes, his extensive experience in healthcare system interoperability and cloud solutions results in a distinctive, user-centric solution.
SY Herrera
Finance & Admin
Sy has 20 years of experience building and managing a chain of prestige beauty salons in Spain. Her MBA degree served as the foundation for her professional experience as an entrepreneur.

Arturo is an industrial engineer with over 10 years of experience in ophthalmology, specializing in operations and business development. He has collaborated closely with refractive and intraocular surgery clinics, helping them grow through workflow optimization, digital tools, and strategic consulting.

Lloyd is an academic ophthalmologist, seasoned oculofacial surgeon, educator, and serial entrepreneur with CEO-level experience managing startups and early-stage medical technology companies. He has held leadership roles in international professional organizations and has expertise in health information technology, telemedicine, data analytics and AI.
Armin Duddek
Advisory Board
Armin, Dipl. Augenoptiker, SBAO, FEAOO, ISCLS, is an optometrist and contact lens specialist based in Zurich, Switzerland. From 2001 to 2019, he served as President of the Swiss Association of Optometry (SBAO) and played a key role in European and global optometric organizations, including ECOO, EFCLIN, and WOF. Armin is an award-winning professional, lecturer, and author in international optometry circles.
