Your vision blurs for a moment, you blink, and everything looks sharp again\u2026 until, seconds later, it blurs once more. This fluctuating vision is especially annoying when you read, work at a screen or drive, and it often points to an unstable tear film<\/strong>. The tear film forms a smooth layer over the eye, and light passes through it before anything else. While that layer stays smooth and even, you see sharply. When it breaks up between blinks, the surface becomes uneven and the image blurs. When you blink, you spread a fresh layer and, for a few seconds, everything focuses again, until it breaks up once more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
